Vivid Dreams

Last night I had a VERY vivid dream. I never have dreams this vivid and detailed.
I lived in some kind of community house. One in which there was a great hall where everyone ate and socialized almost like some giant medieval dining hall that had a glass ceiling, another room above us that was always dark. For some reason I was the only one who knew that we were all being watched over by a vampire. I saw her once. She looked as if she was some type of Nosferatu. White skin, obvious demonic features although she had an aire of royalty about her. she always dressed in feminine robes donned in fur, jewels and pearls She demanded respect and fascinated me. She was incredibly ugly but I wasn't the least bit afraid of her. One day during a meal I leaned over to the boy next to me and whispered to him that we were being protected by a watcher, a vampire of nobility. I remember hearing a crash. The vampire had come down stairs and destroyed most of the dinner plates and chargers which were set up in a grand banquet by the stairs to her room although when she came down she looked much different. She was no longer a Nosferatu looking creature. She looked like an old woman. She walked around the grand hall starring at each person, studying the fear in their eyes but when she got to me she took from her robes a leather bound book wrapped in silk. I never opened it but I knew I had been charged with keeping it safe. That's the last thing I remember. This vampire has been running through my head all day. Why did she choose me? What was the great secret in the book I was to protect with my life? Why was she watching over us and why wasn't I scared? Vampires have always fascinated me. I spent quite a while studying the myths and legends associated with vampires.

That's such a weird dream, I can't imagine what it may mean. Have to say I'm jealous of it, I haven't had a good vivid dream in forever.
