Another Weird Night

OK, so last night I went out with Jon to Crossgates mall. We ended up buying some new Ipod and Iphone cases (this makes 6 for me :-p). Then I got a message from jay asking me what time I'd be back because the guy he's interested in (Eric) wanted to hang out and he didn't want things to be awkward with him and I. so out of curiosity I suggested all 4 of us hang out and watch a movie. We came back and the 4 of us ended up having a GREAT time just hangin out and cuddling with our respective mates. It ended up being a VERY surprising night Jon stayed with me on the couch and Jay and Eric stayed in the bed. I like the kid. He's a little young being 19 but he's alot of fun. I hope he comes to hang out more. Jay seems to like him and he seems to treat jay well so far so I have no problem.

Jon and I had an absolutely amazing night after they went to "bed". That's all I'm going to say on that...the rest if left to the imagination.

I did my good deed for the day last night. At one point during the night probably midnightish Eric noticed that there was a cat crying just outside the sliding glass door that leads to our porch. he was adorable. He just sat there crying to be let in. so against my better judgement I opened the door a bit and gave him a scratch behind the ears. I then noticed that he had a dime sized wound right on his throat and I instantly regressed to the time in my life I had Terramus, my "pet"(/friend) crow. Terramus was found in the middle of winter walking around the street because he couldn't fly due to a dime sized HOLE in his chest. He must have lost a fight with a larger animal, or so I assumed. I took him in and tryed my best to dress and clean his wound. Ultimately Terramus let go of his wings and feathers and passed on but not before spending a very powerful 3 months with me. As a reminder of my time spent with this powerful creature I tattooed a likeness of Terramus on my chest, a memorial to a fallen friend. As soon as my fingers graced his fateful wound I scooped George up (Yes, I named him George), gave him a thorough examination. I noticed that he had no tags, no micro chips, still had his claws and was intact which might suggest that he was a stray but he had no ear mites, he was dirty from rooting around with his nose but not what one would expect from a long time stray tom cat. I instantly clicked into caregiver mode and cleaned and dressed his wound, cleaned out his ears and eyes and gave him a saucer of milk. After he was full and happy I let him back outside where he rolled around on the cement for a while before taking off into the night. I don't know where he came from or where he went but I'm glad our paths crossed. I hope to see him again. I'd like to check up on him

That my dear friends is the heart of my son! I know his heart, his love and the compassion that he feels toward all creatures, as I do also. St Francis of Assissi blesses my son !
